Our roadmap for excellence
Improve student performance in core academic subjects — especially English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science — by at least 10% over the next two academic years, as measured by MAP Growth, internal assessments, and GPA tracking. Instructional planning will emphasize rigor, critical thinking, and academic writing aligned with college and university expectations.
Develop students' academic and professional communication skills through structured debates, research papers, oral presentations, and collaborative projects. Growth will be assessed using schoolwide rubrics, student portfolios, and public speaking assessments, promoting clarity, confidence, and audience engagement across disciplines.
Foster student leadership by increasing participation in student-led initiatives, committees, clubs, and community service. Students will demonstrate ethical behavior and personal accountability, tracked through behavior logs, leadership reflections, peer feedback, and advisor evaluations, reinforcing the values of respect, integrity, and responsibility.
Advance the use of digital tools and platforms to support innovation, research, and 21st-century skill development across all subject areas. Students will apply technology in independent research, data analysis, multimedia presentations, and collaborative projects, with progress measured through digital portfolios, teacher assessments, and project outcomes.
Increase student proficiency in academic English across reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with a focus on readiness for standardized tests (e.g., SAT, TOEFL) and academic writing. Progress will be monitored through MAP Growth data, essay rubrics, oral assessments, and writing portfolios, with special support provided to English language learners.
